Severe Weather
Guest Safety is Our Priority
Many of our guests aren’t used to the types of severe weather we experience here in Nashville. We want you to have the information you need to feel prepared and confident.
Hopefully none of this will be needed, but it’s always best to be informed and ready so you can stay safe and keep enjoying your Nashville stay.
Weather Updates
You can get the most accurate, Nashville-specific info straight from the local experts — no social media account needed:
If they announce a tornado watch, that signifies that a tornado is possible. Stay alert, keep monitoring those weather resources, and be ready to take action if needed.
If they announce a tornado warning, that means a tornado is likely or already happening — take shelter immediately in your safe place.
Safety Tips
Follow the instructions we sent to your email about where to go if you’re in the rental when a tornado warning is issued.
Keep your phone charged and emergency alerts turned on.
iPhone: Settings → Notifications → scroll down → toggle on Emergency Alerts + Public Safety Alerts
Android: Google your phone model + “Turn on emergency alerts” for quick instructions.
Avoid going outdoors or to your vehicle during warnings.
Don’t rely only on sirens — they’re outdoor alerts and can be hard to hear indoors.
